The Capitol Hill neighborhood L’Chaim v’Yayin Torah Study Group accepted last year’s Parsha Challenge and on Sunday, September 27th, 2015/14 Tishrei, 5776 we will have completed reading the entire Torah! (The rest is commentary)

Can we get an “AMEN”!?

Simchat Torah – Everybody Dance!

Simchat Torah begins tomorrow evening (Thursday, October 16th).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

L’Chaim v’Yayin members will be getting down at the following venues:

Adas Israel:  Celebration of Simchat Torah at Adas Israel will begin at 6:00 pm with Mincha, followed by Maariv & Hakafot at 6:30 pm. The celebration continues on Friday morning, October 17 at 9:15 am, at which time we will honor our Simchat Torah Honorees: Julia Gordon, Jennie Litvack & Rae Grad. Please come to honor them and the Torah.

Sixth & I:  Local Jewish communities and minyanim join together as Rabbi David Shneyer and Chazzan Larry Paul leads participants from the sanctuary to the streets to dance and sing with the Torah.

On Friday, October 17th, Hill Havurah will host a Simchat Torah Shabbat and Potluck Dinner at 801 North Carolina Ave SE, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
