Many of you have asked about the impact of the Pope’s visit on services being held on Yom Kippur.
Here’s the scoop on free/non-ticketed services in DC:
Fabrangen is holding services, but suggests that you leave plenty of time to arrive at services and pay attention to road closures and news alerts.
Hill Havurah is holding services at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation
212 East Capitol St., NE. so expect parking restrictions.

Rosh Hashanah is Thursday! L’Chaim v’Yayin members — who are in town — will be attending services at Hill Havurah, Fabrangen Havurah, Adas Israel, Sixth & I and our friend, Penny, is singing in the choir at Temple Micah (let us know if we’ve left out your shul)
Erev Rosh Hashanah: I have the special honor of being asked to give a reading at Hill Havurah! Please join us Wednesday evening from 6:30pm – 9:00pm, Sept. 24th, for services and dinner at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol Street. (Capitol South is the closest metro stop)
